Eunice Day serves as Vice President of the Board for Black Farmers United – New York State Inc., providing leadership that advances equity, sustainability, and opportunity for Black farmers across New York State. With over 22 years of experience as a nurse, she brings a health-informed perspective to agriculture, emphasizing Food as Medicine as a pathway to community wellness.
Through her work with Grady Johnson Healing & Wellness Ministries, Eunice supports community-based research, prescription produce, and nutrition-centered initiatives that connect farmers, healthcare providers, and communities. Grounded in faith and stewardship, her leadership bridges agriculture and health to build resilient, community-centered food systems.
