Farming is a calling, an act of reciprocity, stewardship, and care. For black farmers, this calling runs deep. Our ancestors were enslaved to work this land, and through farming, we have found pathways from oppression to self-reliance, slavery to sovereignty.

Black farmers could be first responders to the black plague -- if granted much needed resources and recognition.
