Sister Adjoa Kittoe discovered her passion for the culinary arts at a young age through experimentation. Self-taught, she successfully runs a plant-focused, Modern West African cuisine, private chef service (Seulful), catering to the tri-state area. Adjoa’s mission is to nurture the Black community’s wealth & health by investing in Black agricultural systems in the Northeast. Seulful aims to provide technological resources, seed-to-plate education, revitalize the ancestral techniques of ecological agriculture, and encourage the hands of Black hands in Black soil.

Dedicated to bettering food systems, Adjoa continues her research in Pan-African Ancestral cuisine, sustainable agribusiness, and developmental studies. She is an MBA student at the University of North Carolina, concentrating on consulting and sustainability. In addition to her passion for lifelong learning, Adjoa is an active participant at the Montclair Community Farms and various other food & ag organizations within her community.
